Come Forth, Little One

"Come forth, little one. We will cause you no harm."

Liannah bounded through the halls with a feeling of
unease. It was not quite right tonight. The guardian sprites
outside the kingdom failed to ease her troubled mind.

Her heart sped up, feeling the prickling feeling on her neck.
'Someone is here'

Spinning on her tiny feet, she turned to face two pairs of
eyes, glinting under the low light. With breath caught in her
throat, she stared wide eyed and unmoving as one of the
creatures extended it's clawed hand out to her.

"Come forth, little one. We will cause you no harm."
